BHAIRAHAWA: Tirupati Cricket Club and Golpark Cricket Club registered victories in the Suresh Shrestha Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament here on Wednesday. In the matches played at the Siddhartha Stadium, Tirupati defeated Karahiya Cricket Club by four wickets, while Golpark thumped Farsatikar Youth Cricket Club by 38 runs. In the first match which was reduced to 16-over-a-side due to late start, Karahiya were restricted on 69-7 in 16 overs, while Tirupati raced to 70-6 in 14.3 overs. In another match, Golpark scored 143-7 in 20 overs and bowled out Farsatikar for 105 runs in 17.4 overs. A total of 14 teams are competing in the tournament.
