Cricketers leave for Namibia
Kathmandu, March 18:
National Sports Council (NSC) member secretary Kishor Bahadur Singh bade farewell to the 15-member cricket team, which will play the ICC Inter-Continental Cup play-off match against Namibia.
Nepal needs to win the four-day match to qualify as the eighth team while a draw would ensure Namibia’s berth. Nepal is slated to play on March 23-26. Coach Roy Luke Dias and Manager Sri Niwas Rana also accompanied the team.
Dias expressed less trust over his senior members of the squad. “I am more hopeful with the younger breeds”.
