KATHMANDU: Minister for Youth and Sports Daljit Sripali on Wednesday instructed the National Sports Council to form a Committee to complete the remaining works of the Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Minister Sripali’s direction came after the inspection visit at the site along with NSC Cricket Coordination Committee Coordinator Sailesh Karmacharya, Finance Department Chief Kapil Mani Pokharel and Construction Department’s Engineer Bishwo Mitra Sanjel. Sripali instructed the NSC to finish the work within 45 days.

Minister Sripali’s instruction came a couple of days after receiving the memorandum from a team of players, coaches, umpires and officials. The group had demanded budget to complete the final phase construction of the ground.
