POKHARA: Damodar Budha Magar of Pyuthan won the 10km race under the Armala Mountain Race here in Armala of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City on Tuesday.

Magar took 44 minutes and 21.02 seconds to complete the distance and left behind Nepal Army’s Ramesh Makranti (45:21.02) and his sibling Rup Lal Budha Magar (45:54.02).

Top three athletes received Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

In women’s category, Lalita Lamichhane came first in one hour and 8.42 seconds, while Sushmita Bhattarai came second in one hour and nine minutes and Sindhu Adhikari was third in one hour and 26 minutes.
