David Beckham heads to Bhaktapur
KATHMANDU: Footballer David Beckham, who touched down at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Friday morning, headed to Bhaktapur to play a charity match –Beckham Match for Children — and for the shooting of a documentary commissioned by BBC.
It is learned that he travelled in a tempo, a three-wheeler, from Sallaghari to reach Padma Higher Secondary School in Bhaktapur.
Along with other members of his team members, Beckham spent about an hour at the TIA for the visa processing and immigration clearance , according to security officials at the TIA.
