Lalitpur, December 16:

David Tako and Bramhand Moktan advanced to the Under-14 Boys’ pre quarter-finals of the seventh Jayakar Memorial Junior National Open Tennis here on Tuesday. Also advancing were Niraj Wagle, Ayush, Milan Rokka, Subir Shrestha, Anchal Thapa, Nawaraj Gurung and Diwakar Ojha.

Winners in the Under-10 Boys’ section were Ivan Bipin Thapa and Abhaya Gauchan. Anukul Shrestha, Samrakchan Bhusan Bajracharya and Nitesh won their Under-12 Boys’ matches while Anushka Malla, Gita Shrestha and Rabina Gurung won their U-12 girls’ matches. Winners in the U-16 girls’ section included Pabitra Gurung and Sagun Thapa.
