LALITPUR: Deepjal Dhungana won the title of the first Kumaripati Billiard Home Members Knockout Snooker Tournament here on Monday.

Dhungana defeated Krishna Khadka 5-3 in the best-of-nine final.

Ali Sirakoti finished third. The top three players received Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

Dhungana earned another Rs 5,000 for the highest break of 81 points.

Local social worker Rajesh KC ‘Baba’ handed over the prizes to the winners of the tournament organised by Kumaripati Billiard Home under the sponsorship of B-Spot Pvt Ltd.
