PRETORIA: Spinner James Tredwell could make his England debut in the first Test against South Africa this week after being called into the squad as cover for the injured Graeme Swann. Swann should recover from a side injury in time for Wednesday’s opening day but England acted cautiously by adding Kent bowler Tredwell to the squad. Team director Andy Flower says “with a further three matches to come after Centurion, we have decided that we need a ‘like for like’ replacement on hand.”
