KATHMANDU: Father Hira Bahadur Thapa and son Amrit Thapa Magar entered the semi-finals of the Dhana Laxmi Maharjan Memorial National Squash Tournament here on Wednesday. Hira Bahadur defeated Amir Blon 11-6, 11-2, 11-5, while Amrit recorded a 11-8, 13-11, 11-6 win over Rajendra Shakya. Similarly, Arahanta Keshar Singh beat Gyanu Chaudhary 11-2, 11-4, 11-9. Prem Singh and Lal Bahadur Thapa made it to last four in men’s above-50-year veteran section. In junior’s U-17 category, Amir Blon will face Bijay Magar and Deepak Thapa will meet Bikram Magar in the semi-finals.
