KATHMANDU: Former goalkeeper of Nepali National Football Team and former general-secretary of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Lok Bahadur Shahi, has passed away. He was 65.

Shahi, who was suffering from various ailments since long, died at his home in Dailekh on Sunday night, informed ANFA President Karma Tshering Sherpa.
According to family sources, final rites of Shahi would be performed today.
Shahi was the goalkeeper of the Nepali National Football Team from 1979 to 1989 AD. He took retirement from the national team in 1989.
He was elected as the general-secretary of ANFA in 2052 BS and as the founding chairperson of Nepal Ice Hockey Association established in 2070 BS.
