When did your affair with golf start?

I was introduced to the sport as a child. My parents frequently took me to the Nepal Golf Club. Golf had me at the first swing!

Gokarna Golf Club mostly because of its beautiful setting and the well maintained course.

Your first memory of golf

When I was eight years old, I used to tag along with my uncle who was a pro golfer. Walking with him on the golf course and watching him play is my first vivid memory.

Your favourite golf club in Nepal

Well, I will have to say both RNGC and Gokarna Golf Course because RNGC is where I spent most of my teenage years playing golf and Gokarna because it is one of the finest golf courses in South East Asia. Both RNGC and Gokarna are unique in their own ways.

While growing up I used to be a big fan of Nick Faldo for his finesse. Now, I will have

to say it’s Tiger Woods for his

extraordinary mental and physical ability to dominate the sport.

Your introduction to the sport

It was my father who introduced me to golf. I would spend my time in the golf course playing

golf with him during my school holidays. Also, I followed golf programmes on television which sparked my interest.

Where will we find you playing golf?

Gorkarna Forest Resort. Its layout and the setting makes it the best golf course in Nepal. The Himalayan golf course in Pokhara is also a must try.
