KATHMANDU: Hosts Greenland made winning start in the 10th Greenland Kwiks Cheese Balls Inter-school Basketball Tournament on Tuesday.

Greenland ‘A’ defeated Golden Peak 53-29, while the hosts ‘B’ team beat Tri-Jyoti 37-17 in senior boys’ section matches. Also, Prolific and Valley Public registered wins on the opening day.

In junior boys’ section, SEB, Golden Peak and Abhiyan Public won their matches.
