KATHMANDU: Gyanodaya Bal Batika started the Ganeshman Singh Cup Inter-school Football Tournament with a victory here on Tuesday. Gyanodaya defeated Nexus 3-2 in penalty shootout after both the teams were deadlocked at 2-2 draw in the regulation time. In another match, Laboratory edged past GEMS in sudden death. A total of 16 teams are competing in the tournament. The top two teams will receive Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by Ganeshman Singh Memorial Foundation.
