Kathmandu, May 29:

Harisiddhi School and Gitamata School entered the Group E final of the selection tournament for the Coca-Cola National Football Tournament today.

Umesh Tamang and Lal Bahadur Tamang scored a hat-trick each as Harisiddhi overwhelmed Hems Boarding School 6-0. Gitamata cruised to a 6-2 victory over Adarsha School with Ramesh Poudel and Pasang Lama each scoring a hattrick for the winners. Nabin Thapa and Shivaram Shah replied for Adarsha.

Likewise, Ratna Rajya School blanked Gandhi Adarsha School 2-0 to advance to the Group C final. Sajan Magar and Romda Lama scored for Ratna Rajya. Also, Jalpa Secondary School defeated Rupak Memorial School 2-0 to secure a quarter-final berth in Group D. Yogendra Mali and Bikram Thapa scored for Jalpa.

On Friday, it’s: Student Academy vs Janajagriti Gyanrashi, Somang Academy vs Oxford Practical School, Suryodaya vs Nawa Jagriti, and Bishwo Gorkha vs Tarun School.
