Himalayan Outdoor Festival Pvt Ltd is organising the seventh Himalayan Outdoor Festival at the Hattibanhills, Pharping from February 16-18.

The event will feature riding, rock and race, informed the organisers here at a press meet today. The ride section includes Downhill, Cross Country, Eliminator and Night Uphill Challenge, while rock section includes Bouldering, Dyno and Natural Rock competitions. Likewise, race category features 5km, 10km, 20km, night run and kids run, informed Himalayan Outdoor Festival Pvt Ltd Founder Spandan Lama Moktan.

Around 50 participants are expected to compete in downhill event, while 120 riders will take part in cross country and more than 200 participants are expected in rock section. The top three players in downhill and cross country’s elite section will bag Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. Event’s estimated budget is Rs 1.5m. North Face is the main sponsor of the event.
