KATHMANDU: Puspasadan, Amar and Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute advanced to the semi-finals of the Ganeshman Singh Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here on Saturday.

At Laboratory School grounds, Puspasadan thrashed Gyanodaya Bal Batika 6-1 riding on a goal each from Abhishek Lama, Subin Thapa, Saan Limbu, Deepak KC, Lagan Rai and Biki Gurung.

In another quarter-final match, Amar edged past Laboratory in sudden death, while Siddhartha Vanasthali routed Triyog 5-0.

Sushant Chaudhary scored a brace, while Anil Bhandari, Sanat Buddha and Biswas Lama scored a goal apiece for Vanasthali. Little Angels’ have already made it to the last four.
