FA charges Mancini

WEMBLEY: The Football Association (FA) has charged Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini with improper conduct after he clashed with Everton counterpart David Moyes. Mancini tussled with Moyes during City's 2-0 loss to Everton on Wednesday night. Both managers were sent off following the touchline incident. Mancini has until April 6 to respond to the charge. The FA will not take any disciplinary action against Moyes.

Beckham back in LA

LOS ANGELES: David Beckham is back home in California after surgery on his injured Achilles’ tendon. Beckham was spotted on crutches while attending a practice with the Los Angeles Galaxy. The 34-year-old midfielder ruptured his tendon playing for Milan earlier this month. He underwent surgery in Finland last week, and is expected to be sidelined for about six months.
