Italian authorities ban Inter fans

ROME:

Italian authorities banned Inter Milan fans from attending Sunday’s final Serie A match in Parma following a similar ban imposed on supporters of AS Roma seeking to attend their last game in Catania.

The decision was taken after Roma insisted it was unfair to ban their fans but not Inter’s. Inter go into the final game one point ahead of Roma. The matches will not only decide the title but also the fate of Parma and Catania, who both need wins to avoid relegation. — AP
