SEVILLE: Juventus beat Real Madrid 2-1 to reach the final of the Peace Cup on Friday as the big-spending Spanish club failed to shine in the first major pre-season test.

The Italians will meet Aston Villa on Sunday. Villa beat Porto 2-1.

Fabio Cannavaro gave Juventus the lead in the third minute before Cristiano Ronaldo levelled the scores through penalty in the 41st minute. Hasan Salihamidzic then struck the winner in the 49th minute
