Juventus beat Inter


TURIN: New Italy international Claudio Marchisio scored a spectacular winner on Saturday to give Juventus a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan and slice a few points off the four-time defending champion’s lead. Inter coach Jose Mourinho was sent off for protests after Juventus went ahead 1-0 in the 21st minute following a deflection in the aftermath of a free kick from Diego. Earlier, AC Milan won their fifth consecutive Serie A match, beating Sampdoria 3-0 on goals from Marco Borriello, Clarence Seedorf and Alexandre Pato. Inter lead with 35 points, Milan are next with 31 and Juventus have 30. Sampdoria remain in a tie for fourth place with Parma on 24 points.
