POKHARA: Kamal Bhandari of Nepal and Kamlesh Shukla of India advanced to the above-35 singles final of the NIC Asia Bank Nepal ITF Senior Tennis Championship here on Thursday. The top-ranked Bhandari defeated Dilip Mahanti of India 6-2, 6-2, while Shukla outplayed his countryman Swarnadip Singh Dhondi 6-0, 6-3 in the semi-final matches. Manoj Shumsher Rana of Nepal and Pradeep Kumar Gupta of India made it to the above-55 singles final. Rajendra Singh Bhandari and Uttam Lama advanced to the doubles final along with Jhyamba Dhondup and Karimillah Muslim. Also, Chandra Bhushan of India entered the above-45 singles final, while the pairs of Binod Kayastha/ Dharam Bahadur Lamichhane, Amitabh Chaturbedi/ Vijay Kumar, Chandra Bhushan/ Hatindra Panwar, and Arun Agrawal/ BalKishan Batai entered doubles quarter-finals.
