KATHMANDU: Nepali golfers Tanka Bahadur Karki and Shiva Kumar Majhi shot six-over 78 on the third day of the Runner Group 31st Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka on Friday. Karki shared the 29th position with two others with the total score of 20-over 236, while Majhi was further four positions down at 23-over 239. Another Nepali player Arun Tamang missed the cut on Thursday. After 54 holes, Bangladesh’s Md Akbar Hossain (68) was at the top of the leaderboard at three-under 213, while his compatriot Md Ripon (73) was one shot behind. India’s Jaibir Singh (69) was third at even-par 216. In team event that ended on Thursday, Nepal’s Karki and Tamang came seventh in 10-team competition.
