Karna Limbu struck a hat-trick as Rumpum Jhapa-XI thrashed Rupandehi-XI 4-0 to enter the final of the Mechi Netralaya Kakarvitta Gold Cup here in Kakarvitta today.

Yogesh Gurung added a goal for Jhapa, who will face either Nepal APF Club or hosts Kakarvitta Football Training Centre in the final. The second semi-final match between APF and Kakarvitta will be played on Thursday.

Gurung put Jhapa ahead in the 37th minute, while Limbu scored three goals after the interval. Limbu doubled the advantage in the 51st minute before adding another one in the 75th minute. Limbu completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute to make it 4-0. Limbu was named the man-of-the-match and received Rs 5,000.
