RUPANDEHI: Far-western Region stunned defending champions Tribhuvan Army Club in the third National Kho-Kho Tournament here on Thursday.

In the women’s section semi-final match, Far-western beat TAC in sudden death after both the teams were deadlocked at 14-all in regulation period.

Far-western Region will face the winners of another semi-final match between Central Region and Mid-western Region.

In men’s section, TAC and Far-western Region made it to the final. TAC hammered Central 11-1, while Far-western edged past Mid-western Region 8-7 in semi-final matches.

The finals are slated for Friday.
