Kathmandu, November 3

Laxmi Bank Open Golf Tournament is slated for Saturday at the Gokarna Golf Club.

Around 100 amateur golfers are expected to take part in the tournament which is sponsored by Laxmi Bank since 2014. This tournament will be played over 18 holes on stableford 3/4 handicap format. The tournament features men, women, senior, guest and junior sections.

“The competition will be fierce as we are in the midst of the golf season. Fairways are providing juicy lies and the greens are rolling as true as it can get. Most participants are looking forward to take part in this coveted tournament,” said Gokarna Club in a release.

Laxmi Bank CEO Sudesh Khaling said: “To sponsor a golf tournament compliments our effort in promoting sporting events in the country. We have promoted several national level tournaments in the past and we continue this journey by hosting yet another edition of the Laxmi Bank Golf Tournament.”

Apart from category prizes and field awards, the organisers have also kept an EVA2000 Electric Scooter from Terra Motors for Hole-in-One feat at any par-3 hole.
