Double joy for Prime

KATHMANDU: Prime College won both the boys and girls’ matches at the Inter-college Basketball Tournament organised by Kathmandu Don Bosco College as part of their eighth Weeka Talentia Programme. Prime beat Don Bosco 25-7 in the girls’ section while Bikram Joshi netted 19 points as Prime beat Whitefield College 48-32 in the boys’ section. — HNS

Judo Championship

KATHMANDU: Multiple Martial Arts Centre won the team championship with five gold, three silver and 11 bronze medals in the first Valley-wide Junior Judo Championship. Mandikhatar Child Environment Centre came second with four gold, three silver and two bronze while Bhanubhakta School finished third with two gold, five silver and six bronze. Upadesh Shakya and Punam Ghale were declared the best players. — HNS
