Final postponed

LALITPUR: The final of the third KCC Running Trophy Inter-college Cricket Tournament between Hima-layan White House Intern-ational College and Kathmandu Don Bosco College has been postponed due to rain. The match will be held on June 25.

Suryodaya win

KATHMANDU: Suryodaya School defeated LRI by 65 runs at the third GCA Inter-school Cricket Tournament. Batting first, Suryodaya were bowled out for 144 runs in 22.1 overs. Sajan top-scored with 21. In reply, LRI were all out for 79 runs. For LRI, man of the match Rupesh Pradhan took four wickets.

GBBS lift title

KATHMANDU: Bikash Sherchan netted 29 points as Gyanodaya School beat LRI 47-43 in the final of the Open Basketball Tournament organised by Whitefield School for SLC-appeared students. Founder chairman of Raktakali Education Foundation Gopal Krishna Shrestha gave away prizes.

Balal returns

KATHAMNDU: President of Nepal International Taekwondo Federation Krishna Bahadur Balal returned after receiving the international coach’s license from the United States. Balal also took part in the Special Training for three months. — HNS
