BHAIRAHAWA: Lumbini Khukuri Cricket Club and Western Cricket Club registered wins in the Shashikant-Sakuntala Barma T20 League Cricket Tournament here at the Siddhartha Stadium on Friday.

In Group A match, Lumbini saw off Buddha Cricket Club by 109 runs.

Batting first, Lumbini scored 159-7 riding on skipper Antim Thapa’s 65 runs. In reply, Buddha were packed for a paltry 50 runs in 16.1 overs.

Lumbini’s Sah Alam complete five-wicket haul.

In Group B, Western beat Gyanodaya Cricket Club by eight wickets.

Gyanodaya were bowled out for 112 runs with one ball to spare before Western reached the target in 14.3 overs losing two wickets. Saurav Khanal scored an unbeaten 84 runs for Western.
