KATHMANDU: Majesty Education Pvt Ltd won the title of the first Sadbhaw Corporate Cricket Tournament here at the Velocity Arena in Ratopool on Tuesday.

Majesty defeated Redmud Coffee by 35 runs in the final.  Opting to bat first, Majesty scored 84-5 in their allotted eight overs.

In reply, Redmud managed only 49-7.

Earlier in the semi-final matches, Majesty defeated WWF Nepal and Redmud saw off SunBi.

A total of eight teams took part in the two-day event organised by National Volunteers to raise funds for children affected by floods in Terai.

National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka is scheduled to hand over the prizes to the winners on Saturday.
