Kathmandu, June 4:

Mansingh High School and Trungram International Academy (TIA) entered the Group E semi-finals of the selection tournament for the Coca Cola Inter-school National Football Tournament.

Sailesh Gharti Magar and Bijay Dahal scored two goals each as Mansingh defeated Suryodaya School 5-0. Gaurav Thapa also scored for the winners. In the other match, TIA edged out Lovely Angels’ 1-0 on the 21st minute goal from Rajiv Sunuwar.

In Group F, Vidhya Mandir and Tri-Jyoti made it to the semi-finals. Ashok Maharjan scored in the 35th minute as Vidhya Mandir beat Gambhir Samundra 1-0, while Tri-Jyoti thrashed Home Land 6-0. Dipesh Joshi and Sunil Lama scored two goals each and Buddha Gurung and Sanjeev Gurung netted one apiece for Tri-Jyoti.
