KATHMANDU: The newly appointed Minister for Youth and Sports Rajendra Kumar KC said he was determined to stop wrongdoings and corruption.

KC, who was sworn in at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas before assuming his office at Singha Durbar, said he was well aware about the corruption and wrongdoings in sports.

“I am well aware about the corruption and wrongdoings in sports sector and I am determined to control them,” said KC.

He said that he would give priority to the sports disciplines that had the potential of winning international medals and to those suitable as per the geographical structure of the country.
