KATHMANDU: Ministry of Youth and Sports on Sunday honoured veteran sports journalist Shyam Chitrakar and Sarita Shrestha of Avenues TV with the Sports Journalism Award. Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal handed over the letter of appreciation and cheque of Rs 50,000 each to the duo. According to the ministry, the sports journalists were felicitated for their contribution in the development of sports through sports journalism.
