JAIPUR: Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi has lost his bid to regain the presidency of his state cricket association in an election marred by scuffles between supporters of rival contestants. Modi lost 13-19 to Indian Rural Development Minister CP Joshi. Modi, however, will remain IPL chairman until 2013.
