Mourinho could face grilling over conduct toward medic

LONDON: Jose Mourinho could face questions at an employment tribunal about his treatment of a club doctor while he worked at Chelsea.

Eva Carneiro is claiming constructive dismissal by Chelsea, separate from her legal action against Mourinho. The Portuguese coach was fired by the club in December, four months after his public outburst against the medical staff.

Mourinho, now the manager at Manchester United, will have to appear at the Croydon Employment Tribunal in south London within the next two weeks, unless a settlement is reached.

Carneiro's attorney, Mary O'Rourke, says cross-examining Mourinho will take at least a day.

Carneiro was criticized by Mourinho on the first day of last season for rushing on to the field to treat Eden Hazard.
