LONDON: France midfielder Moussa Sissoko has moved to Tottenham from Newcastle on a five-year deal.

Sissoko has spent the past three years at Newcastle but was unable to prevent its relegation from the Premier League last season.

In a video message to the fans on Spurs' twitter account, Sissoko says "I'm happy to be here. I will give everything for you, for the team and I hope we will win a lot of games, a lot of titles."

Spurs have paid a reported 30 million pounds ($39.4 million) for the 27-year-old Sissoko, who was given permission to leave the France camp to complete the move.
