KATHMANDU: Deep Shikha Youth Club and Swopna Baag Western United took berths in the final of the Naikap Gold Cup on Wednesday.

Deep Shikha beat Dhunge Adda UNESCO 6-5 in penalty shootout, while Swopna Baag defeated West Kathmandu 2-1 in the semi-finals to confirm

their meeting in the final set for Thursday.

The winner of the match between Deep Shikha and Dhunge Adda was decided through penalty after both the teams played a goalless draw in the 90 minutes of regular time. Likewise, Rajan Shrestha and Kiran Malla scored for Swopna Baag, while Sundar Thapa of West Kathmandu netted a goal.
