Kathmandu, August 3 :

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Thursday announced the dates of the national league.

A meeting of the ANFA and 14 ‘A Division clubs’ representatives agreed to hold this year’s Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League from November 1. The meeting also decided to double the winners’ prize money to Rs two million. The best player will be awarded with a car while best five individuals (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, coach and highest scorer) will get a motorcycle each.

The preparation cost was also increased by Rs 100,000 to that of last year’s Rs 150,000. Regarding the preparation cost, the clubs would later decide whether to take Rs 250,000 from the ANFA or share the gate-collection. The meeting also agreed to produce the International Transfer Certificate to include foreign nationals in the clubs.
