KATHMANDU: Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA) on Friday has denounced the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) for trying to defame Nepal amid the international community. NOC made a mockery of the nation by sending Rupak Rajbansi, a member of the dissolved NeBA committe, at the FIBA Asia meeting held in Kuwait on June 7-8 where current NeBA president Kuldeep Singh Rathaur and general secretary Mahendra Man Shakya had been representing Nepal, the NeBA said on Friday. We have repeatedly tried to discuss the matter with the NOC but they remained mute over the issue.
