APF beat Farwest

MAHENDRANAGAR: Nepal APF Club thrashed Farwest Province by 10 wickets in the Mirari Prime Minister Cup Women’s Twenty20 Cricket Tournament here on Thursday.

Batting first, Farwest posted 90-9 in 20 overs before APF raced to 91 without loss in just 11 overs. APF opener Sita Rana Magar struck eight boundaries in her unbeaten 51 off 35 balls, while Jyoti Pandey scored 28 not out off 31 balls hitting three fours.

Earlier, Kabita Kunwar top scored for Farwest with 29 off 24 balls hitting four boundaries and a six, while Rewati Dhami struck four boundaries in her 20-ball 19 and Bindu Rawal (11) also contributed in double figure.

Player of the match Sita Rana Magar and Sarita Magar took two wickets each for APF, while Ritu Kanojiya and Karuna Bhandari grabbed one apiece. — HNS
