JHAPA: Nepal APF Club beat Nepal Police Club 5-4 in penalty shootout to enter the final of Sahara Surunga Gold Cup Football Tournament here at Kankai HS School grounds on Wednesday.

APF defeated departmental rivals NPC on spot kick battle after both the teams failed to score in regulation and extra time. Nabin Lama, Aditya Chaudhary, Milan Rai, Pasang Lama and Ranjan Bista converted the penalties for APF. Bikram Dhimal, Dinesh Gurung, Tej Tamang and Dinesh Rajbanshi scored for NPC, while Buddha Lama hit wide of the post. Rajendra Rawal of APF won the man-of-the-match award and received a mobile set. In the final, APF will face winners of the second semi-final match between Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangi Club and Rupandehi-XI.
