SUNSARI: Nepal APF Club and Tribhuvan Army Club registered wins in women’s football tournament under the seventh National Games at Duhabi Stadiums on Sunday.

APF saw off Far-western 3-0. Player-of-the-match Niru Thapa, Yeshoda Lama and Rupa Magar scored one apiece for APF, who had defeated Mid-western 3-0 on Saturday. Similarly, TAC beat Mid-western 3-0 riding on goals from Puja Rana Magar, Bhujanga Rai and Kanti Ale. TAC’s Manisha Rawat was named the player-of-the-match. The Games will officially begin on December 23 in Eastern Region.
