KATHMANDU:  Nepal clean swept gold medals in the Nepal-Hong Kong friendly taekwondo event on Wednesday.

Nima Gurung (49-53kg), Gyani Chunara (53-57kg) and Rejina Karki (45kg) won gold medals in the women’s events. Tara Kumar Raymajhi (54kg), Mohamad Bais (68-72kg) and Nischal Man Shrestha (74-80kg) claimed golds for Nepal in the men’s section. Hong Kong’s eight-member team, including four men and three women players, came to take part in the friendly tournament.

National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista handed over the prizes to the winners.
