KATHMANDU: Nepal were pitted in Group A along with heavyweights India in the ACC U-19 Youth Asia Cup slated for November 9-20 in Malaysia.

Bangladesh and hosts Malaysia are also in the same group. Nepal will open their campaign with a match against Bangladesh on November 11 and face India the following day.

Nepal will take on Malaysia on  November 14. Currently, Nepali team is in Bangladesh to  prepare for the event and it will play three practice matches against  Bangladesh U-19 team from November 2-5.

Similarly, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan were drawn in Group B, which will be joined by the winners of Western Regional Qualifiers.

After the league round matches, the top  two teams from both groups will advance to the semi-finals.
