Nepal level the series with amazing 145 run win over UAE in 2nd ODI

KATHMANDU: In an overwhelmingly impressive display with both bat and ball, Nepal won by 145 runs against UAE leveling the ODI series 1-1 at the ICC Academy, Dubai on Saturday.

Nepal won the toss, decided to bat first and posed a target of 243 runs in 50 overs with one wicket to spare. On contrary, UAE were summed up on 97 runs in just 19.3 overs.

Captalising on a brilliant batting spell, Nepal's youngster Rohit Paudel made 55 off 58 also becoming the youngest man to hit an international half-century beating the likes of Tendulkar and Shahid Afridi.

In the bowling mantle, Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane made it their day as Kami knocked four wickets in just six overs and took the last and his fifth of the match in the 19th over.

Meanwhile, Lamichhane made it impossible for UAE to recover after grabbing three wickets in a maiden over.
