Nepal suffer defeat
Bangkok, May 20:
Nepal suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat against Thailand in a friendly football match today.
Thailand, who fielded their second choiced players in the first half, scored all the seven goals in the latter half. Teerasilp Dangda scored in the 47th minute and Sucha Nutum added another in the 52nd. Ronnachai Rangsiyo made it 3-0 in the 54th before Teerasilp Dangda scored another in the 68th. Ronnachai Rangsiyo also joined the party scoring in the 70th and 85th. Rangsiyo scored his second from the spot after Anjan KC brought down Teera Thep in the D-box. In between Sarayoot Chalkamdee also chipped in one goal in the 74th minute.
Nepal played a 2-2 draw against Bangkok Glass here on Monday. Nepal is slated to leave for Cambodia on Thursday to participate in the AFC Challenge Cup.
