Nepal to play with Sri Lanka today

KATHMANDU: Nepali football team will play against Sri Lanka in the last match of the qualifying round of AFC U-16 Championship today.

The match will be played at 7:45 pm at Prince Mohammed International Stadium in Jordan.

Nepal is in Group A along with Jordan, Kuwait, Tajikistan and Sri Lanka.

Nepal which had lost two matches and tied in one of the total three games played, is looking for its first victory with Sri Lanka. Nepal had lost to Jordan 7-0, Tajikistan 8-0 and played to 1-1 draw with Kuwait.

Both Nepal and Sri Lanka are already out from the qualifying round of the tournament.

The winner of the tournament will confirm its position for the second round of the 2020 AFC U-16 Championship.
