Nepal U-15 team wins

KATHMANDU: Nepal U-15 team began the SFT South Asia-JFA U-16 Exchange Programme campaign with a thumping 7-1 victory over Bhutan U-16 team at the Race Course Ground in Colombo on Saturday.

Rajan Pun, Roshan Rana Magar and Brijesh Chaudhary scored two goals each, while Karlosh Bakhariya netted one for Nepal. Nepal took the lead through Ranjan Pun’s goal in the 9th minute, while Brijesh Chaudhary doubled the tally a minute later.

Karlosh Bakhariya made it 3-0 with a goal in the 14th minute and Chaudhary scored his second goal in the 19th minute.

Roshan Rana Magar extended the lead in the 26th minute before Bhutan made it 5-1 five minutes later to go into the break.

Roshan Rana Magar and Ranjan Pun added a goal each in the second half to complete the victory. Nepal will play against Japan U-15 team on Sunday.
