KATHMANDU, JULY 28

Nepali swimmer Duana Lama has been eliminated in the first round of the swimming competition at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris.

Competing in the 200-meter freestyle event, Duana finished last among seven participants, clocking a time of 2 minutes and 20.47 seconds.

With Duana's exit, all three Nepali athletes have concluded their participation in the Paris Olympics. Table tennis player Syantu Shrestha and shooter Shushmita Shrestha were both eliminated in the first round of their respective events.

Duana Lama secured her entry to the Paris Olympics through a wildcard slot.
