KATHMANDU: Shivam New Diamond Academy and Paramount English School advanced to the final of the first Chandragiri Deputy Mayor Inter-school Girls’ Volleyball Tournament here on Sunday.

NDA defeated Three Star Academy 25-10, 25-18, 25-13, while Paramount beat Bijeshwori Gyanmandir 25-9, 25-21, 25-13 in semi-final matches.

The final of the event, organised by Chandragiri City Committee of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, is slated for Tuesday.

Top four teams will earn Rs 45,000, Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

Nepal APF Club will take on NDA in a friendly match on Tuesday to celebrate Volleyball Day.
