KUSHMA: New Diamond Club and Nepal APF Club advanced to the final of the first Didibahini Cup Women’s Volleyball Tournament here on Saturday.

New Diamond registered a 3-1 victory against Nepal Police Club, while APF beat departmental rivals Tribhuvan Army Club in straight sets. New Diamond defeated NPC 25-21, 25-27, 25-15, 25-23, while APF recorded a 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 victory over TAC in the day’s semi-finals.

The third-place playoff match between TAC and NPC was postponed due to insistent rain. The top three teams of the tournament will receive Rs 100,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively, while the best player will be awarded with Rs 5,000 and the best individuals in their positions get Rs 3,000 each.
